Do you test your products on animals?

Sarah Chapman Skinesis does not, and never has, tested its products on animals.

Can I use my usual cleanser/moisturiser/skincare products with Skinesis products?

Yes, Skinesis products can be incorporated into your existing routine.

I am going for a cosmetic procedure/peel/filler/surgery etc. Are your products safe to use afterwards?

All our products conform to strict safety standards, however if in doubt or if you have any concerns you MUST seek the advice of your medical practitioner. Please note that information concerning our ingredients can be found in the ‘ABOUT’ section of our website.

How long do your products last?

This of course varies by product and how often you use it.

How much of each product should I use?

This varies between each product, so please see the respective packaging for directions on how much to use.

In what order should I apply my products?

Generally, after cleansing, you should apply formulas from thinnest to thickest texture: start with skin prep (such as our Liquid Facial Resurfacer), then apply your eye cream, your serum/treatment and finally, your elixir and/or moisturiser. Instructions are given on our packaging and on each product page on the website under the “HOW TO USE” section.

How are Skinesis ingredients/products innovative?

No, Skinesis products do not contain parabens.

Is it safe to use your products during pregnancy / illness or with medicines?

Do you have samples of your products?

A number of our bestselling formulas are available in travel sizes on our website.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Our products are carefully formulated to suit the needs of our clients who show a wide range of skin concerns, including sensitivity. If you are at all concerned, we recommend you carry out a patch test prior to using any new product. Apply a small amount of product behind the ear for up to three days: should you experience any redness, irritation or discomfort during this period, then we would not recommend use of that product.

What is the shelf life of your products?

You can safely use Sarah Chapman Skinesis products within two years of the purchase date. Once opened please refer to the packaging for details of PAO (period after opening) date. This is indicated by an open jar symbol with the relevant number of months printed within, such as ‘12M’.

Do any of your products contain SPF?

Yes, Dynamic Defence SPF15, Dynamic Defence Concentrate SPF15 and Skin Insurance SPF30.

I am using a moisturiser so why do I need a treatment/serum/booster?

Serums, treatments and boosters target skin concerns that your moisturiser does not. They are highly active, complex formulas that address anti-ageing concerns in several ways and are formulated for speedy absorption into the skin. They are often water-based or of a lower molecular-weight than a cream in order to carry high levels of effective active ingredients deeper into the skin.

After using Skinesis products my skin feels tight/tingly – is that normal?

Due to the active nature of our products and high levels of vitamin A, you may experience a tingling or tightening sensation due to the active and lifting effect of our products. This should be temporary. However, if you begin to feel discomfort, we recommend you stop using the product until your skin has returned to normal, then slowly try re-introducing the product again.

What should I do if your product is not suitable for me?
